Sweet Stamps Challenge- Microbeads

Microbeads are back!  Let's see what you can make with microbeads and join us at the Sweet Stamps Challenge.

I had fun with this challenge- can you tell?  I stamped and colored the image with Copics, then put it through the Xyron and added Microbeads over the top. I also added microbeads using the same method on the blue strip.

I used Russet Red Creative Inspirations Paint to add color to the Cheery Lynn Italian doily die and to the Candi brads. The cardstock is Coordinations Berry Reds and Sandy Tans.

Here are the products I used:
Stamp image- Bird on a flowering branch
Copics- Tea Reds, Victorian Green, Warm Shadow and outlined with B000-seaside
Creative Inspirations Paint- Russet Red
Cheery Lynn Dies- Italian Doily Die and Corner Die
Coordinations Cardstock- Berry Reds (Raspberry) and Sandy Tans (Quicksand). (The blue is SU Pool Party).
Embossing Folder - Damask- sanded to see the white Core : )
Candi brads and foam dots- I painted them with CI paint Russet Red
Clear Glass Microbeads - run cardstock through the Zyron- use a bone folder to get really good coverage before removing the backing, then cover with microbeads.

I hope you will join in the challenge!  Every entry qualifies you for a chance to win $20 of items from the store at  Sweet Stamps, and if you use a Sweet Stamps image- you will receive an additional chance to win! Please note- there is a limit of 10 challenges for each entry. The winner is chosen by Random.org- so everyone has a chance to win!

Wow, love your card! The beads look cool over the whole image. Do they fall off? I dropped a bottle of those once and ack...they were hard to clean up.

Shelly, I would not have thought the Xyron adhesive would hold the microbeads, so thank you for the tip! What a pretty card and the coloring is perfection! Have a great evening!
